A dyadic solution of relative pose problems
نویسنده
چکیده
A hierarchical interval subdivision is shown to lead to a p-adic encoding of image data. This allows in the case of the relative pose problem in computer vision and photogrammetry to derive equations having 2-adic numbers as coeffients, and to use the Hensel lifting method to their solution. This method is applied to the linear and non-linear equations coming from eight, seven or five point correspondences. An inherent property of the method is its robustness.

An investigation into the frequency of Language Related Episodes in the EFL learners’ Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Dyadic Interaction
This study attempted to compare the relative frequency of the occurrence of Language Related Episodes (LREs) in the dyadic talks of pairs who were homogeneous and heterogeneous in terms of English proficiency. LREs are those parts of the conversations where the interlocutors explicitly focus on linguistic form. The study was carried out with 60 Iranian university students of teaching English a...
متن کامل179-2007: Using PROC NLMIXED and PROC GLMMIX to Analyze Dyadic Data with a Dichotomous Dependent Variable
In the social and health sciences, data are often hierarchical (subjects nested in groups). One kind of hierarchy is the dyad, or couple, where each group consists of two subjects. Dyadic data pose particular problems for statistical analysis for several reasons: First, variation may occur at the individual or dyadic level. Second, the data are not independent. Third, the small group size poses...
متن کاملMonocular 3D Human Motion Tracking Using Dynamic Probabilistic Latent Semantic Analysis
We propose a new statistical approach to human motion modeling and tracking that utilizes probabilistic latent semantic (PLSA) models to describe the mapping of image features to 3D human pose estimates. PLSA has been successfully used to model the co-occurrence of dyadic data on problems such as image annotation where image features are mapped to word categories via latent variable semantics. ...
متن کاملTime domain half-space dyadic Green’s functions for eddy-current calculations
The field due to an impulsive current dipole embedded in a half-space conductor adjoining a nonconducting half space is given by an exact solution of the quasistatic field equations. This solution has been used to construct a half-space dyadic Green’s function containing a term for an unbounded conductor plus terms representing the field reflected at the interface between conducting and noncond...
متن کاملQ Spaces of Several Real Variables
For 2 (?1; 1), let Q (R n) be the space of all measurable functions with supp`(I)] 2?n Z I Z I jf(x) ? f(y)j 2 jx ? yj n+2 dx dy < 1; where the supremum is taken over all cubes I with the edge length`(I) and the edges parellel to the coordinate axes in R n. If 2 (?1; 0), then Q (R n) = BMO(R n), and if 2 1; 1), then Q (R n) = fconstantsg. In the present paper, we discuss the case 2 0; 1). These...
